My hair type is 3B and it is working well for me. It heats up quickly and cools down pretty fast as soon as you unplug it. Even for my sister who has 1C hair, this straightener delivers. Lots of temperature choices. For reference, I have long hair past the collar bone but it only takes 5-10 minutes to straighten my hair and about 20-30 minutes for luscious curls which last long using their hair spray! I also have a bunch of Evalectric products that I trust when it comes to treating my hair to the best ingredients.
